Special Guest Singer Cheryll A. Johnson

Cheryll’s voice will fill Emerald Theatre with smooth, energetic, soulful, heartfelt, and jazzy notes. Cheryll began her music journey at the age of 5, singing in the church in Detroit, MI. She is now happily retired from her regular gig, and is ecstatic that she can immerse herself in bringing joy to others by sharing her gift of song.

She has an incredible and inspirational resume including Gospel Music performances produced by John E. Lawrence, self-recorded original music composed and recorded , and over 30 years of experience as a soloist and group performances at numerous events.

 Rachael spends her mornings on air at 99.5 WYCD with the Josh, Rachael and Grunwald on WYCD. Rachael was recently inducted into the County Radio Hall of Fame for her contributions to country music radio!!

Rachael Hunter has been a part of the morning team at WYCD/Detroit since 2005. Hunter is a 2013 Gracie Award recipient, received the NAB Marconi Award in 2012 and 2016, as well as Best Morning Show from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters in 2017 and 2019.
